5th and Final General Assembly: 8th-9th of July 2021, online

The final TRUE General Assembly  took place on the 8th and 9th of July 2021 under the topic "Celebrating our 4.5 years together".  During the two days, more than 40 participants shared and reflected on innovations and possible paths towards a sustainable transition.  The General Assembly was hosted by the James Hutton Institute, using interactive exercises and compiling partners' experiences, which fostered an insightful exchange regarding legume-based food and feed systems in Europe.

4th General Assembly: 23th-24th of June, online

The fourth TRUE General Assembly took place on the 23rd and 24th of June 2020. Due to the special COVID-19 situation the venue was not Stuttgart at the University of Hohenheim, as originally planned, but we met in a video conference setting. However, it was an interesting and interactive online meeting with innovative tools and a fruitful exchange about realising the legume transition.

3rd General Assembly: 10th - 12th of July 2019 in Porto

The 3rd General Assembly marked an important milestone for the TRUE project as it reviewed the second year of project implementation and has set out guidelines for the next project year. Therefore the members of the TRUE consortium as well as members of the Intercontinental Scientific Advisory Board met to share their results and discuss project activities. Tis meeting was fruitful, providing an update on progress achieved in the past year, and setting out an efficient and reliable plan to meet the forthcoming Deliverables.

The TRUE project officially launched on April 19, 2017 in Edinburgh with the convening of the 1st General Assembly. All 24 partners from 11 countries gathered for three days of intensive exchanges, discussions and presentations on the various work packages and planning of the TRUE project. The three main objectives of the Kick-Off meeting were to: 1) for all partners to be better acquainted with one another as well as their research capacities; 2) to understand the principles of transdisciplinary research and its application for stakeholder engagement; and 3) establish a robust data management plan. All partners left the meeting with new energy to move forward with their respective project activities. Stay tuned for more project updates from TRUE partners.
